The intervention is done at the operating quarters of the laser centre at a preset date.

 A few moments prior to the intervention the eye(s) will be anaesthetized with eye drops. As soon as you are prepared for the intervention, an eyelid-spreader will be placed between the eyelids to avoid blinking. During treatment, that lasts only a few seconds, you need to stare continuously at a fixation light. This fixation is very important for an optimal centrage.

 

Eye-drops will be administered after treatment and, in most cases, a protective bandage lens will be put on. This lens will stay for approximately four days on the eye, to stimulate the healing process of the epithelium.

first control will be executed 1 to 2 days after the intervention. And, after a few weeks, another 1 to 2 after controls will be ,necessary, depending of the healing evaluation
