In the beginning, sight can be unstable, sometimes sight can decrease towards the evening. It is important to know that these techniques aren’t accurate mathematically and, in some cases, an over or under correction can be necessary. Complications can occur with the LASIK therapy, linked to a corneal flap: thinning of the flap, growing of epithelium, deposit of material under the flap, shifting, bending ,etc. An early recognition of these side effects is very important and, in most cases completely curable (click here for more information). With the PRK and LASEK treatment, a cicatrisation can cause a certain haziness during some time. Most of the time there is a hyper sensibility to bright light, a feeling of eye-dryness, a sense of having a strange object in the eye with a slight irritated feeling.These discomforts will disappear quite quickly.
